Bhaveen Sheth-Diary of the Single Indian Male- Save yourself from the Humiliation

Dear Single Indian Men,

First of all my sincere apologies for not having posted any of  my write ups. What to say, i was busy and then my Internet connection got expired , hence i had to recharge it. Anyways i am back.

Today I would like to discuss on the Topic of Humiliation that Single Indian Males undergo on a daily/weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual basis. I am talking about the Single Indian Male who is eligible for marriage.

Many of those who are reading this must have gone through the humiliating experience once in their life time. That experience that left you with shame for days or even months to an end.

Let me guess , you were pushed into meeting some girl either through a family reference or through some matrimonial site and you went to meet her. The meeting turned out to be a social disaster, the humiliation of which you will have to carry for your entire life.

My friends , i understand this. I myself have gone through this.

Economic Liberalization gave woman economic and social freedom in our country, no to say that with new openings , more and more members of the fairer sex entered the workforce.

But females have got so much of attitude that they get a kick in humiliating men, be it at workplace and some whom they meet socially.

The common questions asked during matrimonial meets are Salary, Position, Job Description, Future progress,  the four wheeler you drive and the house that you own. Sometimes it may look like that they are getting married to your material achievements rather you yourself.

And in case you have some or the other shortcoming, they will point fingers at you, they will bluntly tell you that you are dark, pot bellied, poor in communication or you have no personality.

One of my friends who happened to be a doctor ( Critical care specialist) went to meet a girl through a family acquaintance and was openly told  by the female that he looked more of scrap dealer and less of a doctor, poor fellow could not eat or sleep properly for a week.

Hence I come to the main topic of my Blog, why do we the Single Indian Men subject ourselves through this humiliation?? Is it that we want to marry someone from our own caste/community/religion/state??? Do we want to make our parents happy?? Or is it that we are such looser's that we can't make a decent girl friend and we expect our parents and matrimonial sites to find the beautiful, fair looking, homely girls????

Guys, it is high time that we come in terms with some pragmatic realities of life. The fact that if one has to stop himself from getting humiliated then he has to find someone with whom he can spend his life with.

That those of marriageable age find a good woman who happens to be your best friend, someone whom you can relate with, someone in whom you can find solace in and it does not matter if she does not belong to your caste/community/religion or she does not fit into the category of the typical Indian wife.

It does not matter my friends , it just does not matter, find a friend then make her your wife, you will be happy and spare yourself from the humiliation that thousands of eligible Single Indian men are subjected when they go around looking for a soul mate or a life partner.
