The Matrimonial Profile of an Indian Girl

The Following is the Bullshit Crap Posted by Girls or their Fathers, Mothers and Siblings on Matrimonial Sites, the reality altogether is something else:

Girls are traditional … and with a Fair complexion too.
They carry Positive attitudes and expect the same.
Their Priorities are more to family values and Indian culture.
They’re often simple and sober.
They’re sincerely from

core and strong will power.
They’re god fearing and trust on god very much.
They’re very Ambitious. (hmmm … sweet)
Hobbies: Cooking & Dancing (well, good, both can be performed simultaneously)
They believe in sanctity of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Bhaveen Sheth-Diary of the Single Indian Male- Are you ready to take the responsibility

My Dear Single Indian Male Friends,

Today i will be sharing my thoughts on taking up responsibility, are you ready to take it. When I say responsibility , i mean the responsibility of getting married, responsibility of being a husband, responsibility of being a good father. How many of us are really willing to take up this challenge?????

I guess it is not easy to answer this question. Indian males choose not to answer it and why??? I myself don't know the answer.

Somewhere down you feel that you are a Human and a part of the society even it is just for a short period. The Photoblog follows Down:

Bhaveen Sheth-Loneliness and Abandonement

With every day, every month and every year going by i deal with the Devil of Loneliness and the demon of abandonment. 15 long years of being lonely and 11 years of now being abandoned, i am still to come in terms with the pragmatic realities.

A life that has been going through Melancholia, i try to find answers, answer to what life is all about, i search and search the true meaning life.

I will however always remain ungrateful to the Indian Society that has given me the persistent feeling of abandonment, time and again. A society that I have now come to detest, so much that I have turned into a strong critic of the same.

Bhaveen Sheth-Diary of the Single Indian Male- Save yourself from the Humiliation

Dear Single Indian Men,

First of all my sincere apologies for not having posted any of  my write ups. What to say, i was busy and then my Internet connection got expired , hence i had to recharge it. Anyways i am back.

Today I would like to discuss on the Topic of Humiliation that Single Indian Males undergo on a daily/weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual basis. I am talking about the Single Indian Male who is eligible for marriage.

Many of those who are reading this must have gone through the humiliating experience once in their life time. That experience that left you with shame for days or even months to an end.

Bhaveen Sheth-Diary of the Single Indian Male-Beware of the SIngle Desperate Frustrated Indian Woman

My Dear Friends,

Greeting on the Festival of Diwali, may this Diwali bring happiness in your lonely life and hope it fulfills your dreams in the coming year.

My writeup today focuses upon the single desperate frustrated Indian women and it is my duty to make all my single Indian Male friends aware of the dangers of seeking companionship with this dangerous species of its own kind.

It does not take rocket science to identify such females, they are mostly in their late 20's or early 30's with desperation and frustration stamped on their faces. They are cranky, moody, sad and often have emotional outbursts.

Bhaveen Sheth-Diary of the SIngle Indian Male-A Writeup on Single People of India

My Dear Single Indian Males,

I cam across an interesting post which throws light on the Pleasures and Perils of living single in India. It is an interesting read and i thought i would share with you.

Bhaveen Sheth

Bhaveen Sheth- Self Made Man in just a Bullshit Word in the Indian Society

The world loves to admire self made men. Best selling books are authored on this Topic. Numerous documentaries are made on renowned self made men.

Recently in many matrimonial profiles that I come across, i had seen the bride's parents looking for a self made man for their daughter.

Bhaveen Sheth-Diary of the Single Indian Male- Search yourself in your Solitude

My Dear Single Indian Males,

Today i would like to discuss on the topic on knowing yourself. How many of us really know who we really are??? The answer is that only few of us know it.

We have been bought up in a close knit family and community and we become men based on the feedback and perception of our near and dear ones. Very few of us get the opportunity to explore the the world outside our homes and communities. Hence we never our selves that well.

The moment an average Indian male reaches a suitable age, a bride hunt starts and he soon gets married, whether he likes it or not. After this starts a new chapter of marriage where the the man has to take up responsibilities and play the tole of a husband, son and father. All this without truly knowing theyself.

In all my years of traveling around India, i have come across such frustrated Men who are living a life without any goals, men who are just counting days, men who have lost it but are just continue to live because they have the burden of responsibilities.

And so my single male friends, cherish your solitude, maybe god has kept us single so that we can discover our selves, maybe we can realize what we really  want in life, our passions and interests are ignited, the freedom to pursue the activities we want.

It is this solitude that will make you realize who you really are and what we really want. So go ahead and take some time so that you can be at peace with your self and you will realize who you really are and what you really want.

This is Bhaveen Sheth signig off for the day , will be back with a lot more later.

Bhaveen Sheth -Diary of the Single Indian Male-Avoid the feeling of being left out or missing the opprtunity of Matrimony

My Dear Single Indian male,

Last week two events happened , one of my colleagues in the place where i work and who happens to be 4 years younger to me became and father and my room mate who again happens to be 27 years old got his marriage relation fixed through his family.

Plenty of Single Indian Men who have either missed out the opportunity of getting married or are not getting married may have gone through similar situations. There are times when you see that people who are younger to you are getting married , may of them have become fathers and mothers with tiny tots in their arms.

And there you are still single with no woman and child around you.

Bhaveen Sheth-Diary of the Single Indian Male-What Majority of Indian Girls want after Marriage

My Dear Single Indian Male: Please read the truth about what majority of girls in our country want after marriage. Love understanding, caring friendly, compassionate  and all those glossy things are just a things written to give a different impression. The reality is mentioned below. Please read it

What do Woman expect after marriage: (Taken from times of India)

Not getting Married is better, here are some real facts: Before Marriage : Dad gives nokia 3310 with 25 rupees recharge (prepaid connection with 1p/sec plan) with only limited text and outgoing calls: After Marriage :expectation is a Smart phone (usually latest Blackberry or Sony Experia) with unlimited calls, text, 3d camera, 4g conn
ection .Before marriage she gives "missed call" after marriage you give missed calls. Before marriage : Dad / mom gives one chudihar/salwar for birthday :After Marriage: expectation is branded/ designer clothes, roaming around in malls with big sun glasses, shorts and T shirts. Before Marriage: Dal,roti and chaawal (sometimes with pickle or papad): After marriage expectations is Thai, Mexican, Italian dinner (with candle light). Before Marriage: vital stats are 36-26-36, after marriage 40-50-60. Before Marriage : Places visited local theater with some silly idiot (boy friend),sharing a 200ml pepsi and an oily samosa / half cooked vada pau or going to Pizza Hut, KFC occasionally and maximum one burger (for Rs 30.00 including taxes) from Mc Donald per year - but they will brag about it the whole year. After Marriage :Expectation is UK, US - visit the Vegas strip and a 7 day luxury cruise with T shirt and shorts, big dark sun glasses, designer hand bags and watches. Before Marriage: mode of travel is BMW (Bus-Metro-Walk) After marriage : Mercedes Benz (Minimum C Class), Audi,VW.or Lexus. Before Marriage: she says she is totally ignorant about IPC's (Indian penal codes), After Marriage: master in interpreting all provisions of IPC 498a. Before Marriage : rented house in some galli/mohalla: After Marriage: Minimum apartment and the poor husband will be stressed and frustrated paying the housing/car/credit card loans and by the time the loans are over he is totally stressed and frustrated (ends up with BP, receding hairline etc) - Bottom Line : Very conservative when it comes to dads money but lavish and dont care attitude about husbands money Folks this might bit exaggerated, some girls are very good but when you go out in the society most of them appear to be like what I mentioned ..... Damm it ....either way you just can't do with them or without them .........I hope you agree!

Bhaveen Sheth-Diary of the Single Indian Male-Spare your Parents of the Humiliation

My Dear Single Indian  Men,

Today I would like to discuss on the Topic of sparing your parents from Humiliation.

Many a Times we read articles or blog posts of the parents of an Indian Girl who openly tell about the humiliating experiences that they have to face when they want to get their divorced, widowed or over aged daughter  married, not to mention the girl who does not fit into the ideal requirement of being the typical Indian Bride ( fair, good looking, dumb, respects elders slim and all the other bullshit crap).

Bhaveen Sheth-Confessions of an Intellectual Arrogant Male

Yes I am arrogant, so what??

I am arrogant because i am a subject matter expert.

I am arrogant because I keep myself updated with the latest developments happening in my field.

I am arrogant because i value my self respect and my personal dignity.

I approach people with a so called "down to earth nature" only to be rebuked, insulted and humiliated so now i take the arrogant stance.

I approach incompetent and insecure people, so insecure that they will do anything do defend their position. Mediocrity has become the norm in all industries in this country.

I ask a little bit of help and support from you and you treat me like a class 4 category staff and then you call me arrogant.

Why don't you admit that you get inferiority complex when you meet intellectual and competent people????

I am arrogant and I will remain arrogant and you know what?? I give a shit about it. I am thick skinned and can take such form of criticism, because i know that my work will prove my worth.

Bhaveen Sheth Confessions of an Orphan

Being an Orphan in India is difficult. A lot of people think that orphans are like Huckleberry fins or Oliver twists, worst , people have an image of an orphan right from the 70's and the 80's Bollywood movie, that of a child wearing a  torn banyan and shorts wit a bowl in his hand begging for Alms. They can't imagine an Orphan having a good corporate job.

Anyways let’s leave the Historical facts  behind, but as an orphan I often have to  lie about my real identity, when asked about my family background, i just say that they are in their Home town living a retired life. This one statement shuts the mouths of a lot of people.

My writings here are to give advice to all Single Men Living in the Indian Setup across different Cities and Towns of India. Class/Caste, social and financial status does not matter. The idea here is to share one’s feelings and exchange ideas on how one can survive living as a single man.

Every Day a New step taken towards Self Development

I believe that every day is important  and one must make good use of it. Every day we must take steps , however small they are, for our personal development.

Personal development can be done on many fronts, we should gain knowledge by reading, learn a new skill,  become more fit by exercising and become more spiritual.

We should pursue development on all fronts to refine ourselves. But it is really sad that it does not happen. We go about doing our jobs, taking additional and unwanted responsibilities, watching television in our free times and then going to sleep. The same cycle repeats itself again and aagain.

There is a saying that goes by "You can make your life as interesting as you want it to be and you can make it as boring as you want it to be"

The choice lies in the hands of we the people. We are the masters of our lives and commanders of its destiny and it is left up to us how we want to live our lives.

We must learn to focus on our self development.

After His Marriage Everything Will Get Alright

EK baar uski Shaadi hone do, sub kuch thik ho jayega- Some filthy garbage Bollywood Dialogue heard over and over again and my answer is Ganta Thik Ho Jayega.

Often one comes across parents in India who have a Dysfunctional Son, but they proudly say “Once we get him married, everything will get alright”

Lets us explore this subject and describe the useless good for nothing son who is the perfect example of an Average Indian Male.

The Common Statements coming for the So Called Rich and Powerful Egotists

Every other day one comes across the rich, powerful and well connected people, not to mention snobbish!!!!!

Some common overheard statements coming out from their filthy mouths are as follows:

“DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM” , the most common statement, frequently used in Bollywood Movies. Well we certainly don’t know who you are unless you were a Bollywood Star, Cricket Player or hmmmmm well a Porn Star (considering the fact that the number of people in India who watch porn movies and are obsessed with it and our god like treatment to porn stars). Such type of people are a nuisance anywhere, anyplace and anytime. People who are connected to some business or political person or some bootlicker who rose the ranks by licking his masters boots. Humility is a word that does not figure out in their vocabulary.

Bhaveen Sheth Everyday I focus on my Dreams

Unlike Mediocre People of the Indian Society in Particular and India in general , i wake up with a different feelling everyday.

Mediocre People only wake up to let  another day go by to drag years in their lives, I , Bhaveen Sheth believe that everyday there is something new and challenging to do, every day  I will learn a new concept or acquire a new skill that will contribute to my professional and personal growth and development.

I try hard and focus on my dreams , my dream for an executive education, my dream to enter a Corporate Hospital HR and Training and Development Function where I get to work with professional people.

I focus on my dream to achieve a swimmers body, i focus to participate in Marathons and take my fitness to the highest levels

I focus and focus everyday and one day I hope that I am able to achieve my dreams.

This is Bhaveen Sheth signing off for the day, will be back with some more.

Go find a motive in Life

GO AN FIND A MOTIVE IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is something that I would like to tell people, go find a passion that you are interested in, this will make your life worthwhile............................................

How many of you are living your life which is nothing but worthless???  How many of you have just got bored in life??????? Why my dear what happened??????

Maybe you started out in life with a lot of enthusiasm and now you have lost it. Somewhere down the line you just took up responsibilities you could not fulfill, may be took a huge bite and now you find it difficult to swallow.

My suggestion is please release yourself and  find something that you find most fulfilling, go out there and enjoy life. Don't take  regrets to your grave yard and live a life of remorse.

Bhaveen Sheth-A Promise to stay Physically Fit

Crossing 30, I have realized that now it is time to take up a fitness regimen seriously, one of the primary reasons to do this is to age gracefully.

Single that I am and single I intend to to be for my life, i will have to take care of my health all by myself. I have seen people bowing down to the pressures of responsibilities put upon by the Society. By 35 they look worn out.

For men it is a rounded pot belly and for woman it is a huge lump of fat that gets accumulated in their pelvic regions.

Being an Orphan post 30

Crossing 30 I still have the status of being an Orphan.................................... being unattached, destitute , Homeless, i ask myself where my life is heading to on the personal front.

No one , no one puts his/her hand on me to give the feeling of being a Human being, no one wants to associate with me on a long term basis. Festivals that come up and make no importance to me, i have no one to call and no one is there to call me.

I am going to stay as I am, the Indian society will never do any favour on me by removing the tag of being an Orphan on my head, but i intend to change the situation for myself.

I don't want to be dependent on someone when i grow old and for that I intend to make myself fit so that i can age gracefully and i don't intend to be homeless, i shall work for to get a decent home for myself so that i always have a home to back to.

And this will be an achievement for me an orphan........................................................................................

The thoughts resonating from the Heart of an Alone, lonely orphaned Man

I will always be known as the Lonely Man.

I am the lonely man who has walked and walked a lot on this earth.

As a lonely man I eat alone, sleep alone, live alone, weep alone and may be one day I will die alone.

I am the lonely man who was destined to become an orphan.

Learning and Development has become an obsolete word among Today's Professionals

As I work with the function of Human Resources, Training and Development, i come across a major challenge of putting working professionals through a program of learning new skills and seeking further knowledge for career growth.

The real problem in that very few people are interested in learning something new and advancing ahead. This is seen across a  spectrum of organizations all over India. People think that what they learned during their education is more than enough and will not take any extra step in career advancement. Unless and until training is forced along with disciplinary action, people are not interested in taking any training.

This problem is rooted to the narrow minded thinking that we people collectively have. Going the extra mile is not something that we want to do. People claim that they have learned enough in their schools and colleges, but one assessment of their skill level and you will know that they are mediocre or even below that.

Bhaveen Sheth-Some Random Thoughts Part 16

I get on to a regular life and start adjusting day by day.

Getting back and starting afresh is not easy but I am happy , the break of some months was really good.

I come across some Ego maniacal People who will themselves not do  anything and wont allow others to do.They have just wasted years of their lives doing nothing and have never developed at all professionally, personally or spiritually.

Why is it that such Old Insecure people feel threatened by the Youngsters who are Hardworking, talented and brilliant?????

Bhaveen Sheth-Proving my Detractors Wrong by Doing the Impossible and the Unexpected

In all the years that have gone by I have come across people, many of them who have been either my colleagues or superiors who have underestimated my Knowledge, Skills and abilities. Some of had even me written me off in the but they were all wrong.

Time and again I have proved my Detractors wrong by doing the impossible, the unexpected and at times the Outrageous. Yes my dear readers, i have done that and will continue to do that.

The reality is that many people think that just because I am straight forward with people and good to others they can take me for granted, just because I am silent i don't have any abilities and an under performer.

Bhaveen Sheth-Living Life out of a Suitcase

As I write and Update my Blog, I go back and have recollections of my Past. Now, I am 30 years old and it has been 15 years since I have been living my Life out of a Suitcase.

Well, what does this term mean? Simple. It means that for the last 15 years I have been Living my life in many places carrying my suitcase, bags and the rest of my belongings all over places.

I am happy to have chosen this path but there are times when I wish i was stable. Anyways, this is not the time to grieve but rejoice and live one's life.

Once you live in a place for more than a year , you tend to develop some sort of attachment, attachment with the place , with its people and rest of the things in general. Leaving the place does cause some anxiety and a sense of loss.

Empty Threats Given by the Indian Society to the Single People

Hi There, finally got the time to post some of my thoughts . This time I will be speaking on the Empty Threats given by our Indian Society to the People (like Me and many others) who choose to stay single.

As I have mentioned before we are either single by choice, destiny or circumstances, so long as we are content with our lives and are not an existential threat to others, we prefer to be left on our own.

But How can that happen, the great Indian Society known for its Ignominious Double standards for whom a dictionary filled with expletives is not enough ,does not allow us to live peacefully.

They( the people of the Indian Society) to Empty threats to make us paranoid. They create  the situation of Apocalypse or the great destruction and all that which will happens in case we remain single.

Some of their Statements are mentioned below.

Bhaveen Sheth-Stanley Ka Dabba- A tribute to Orphans like Me

Stanley ka Dabba, a movie directed by Amol Gupte showing the Story of an Orphaned boy and his Tiffin Box.

Though It shows the story of School Children and  their lives in a School, their Dream, their Aspirations, the underlying theme was to Potray the the lives of exploited underage child workers and Orphaned Children.

Stanley Fernandez plays the role of a School Boy who comes early to School, is friendly with all his classmates, tries his best to impress his teachers and of all things he stays happy in spite of facing all Odds.

Stanley ka Dabba really touched my Heart and it will certainly to all Orphans who will watch this Movie. Its Shows a Lot of problems that are faced by use orphans.

The first thing that Stanley is always asked about his parents and he has no answer to that.He somehow makes up a fictional story about his parents. This is also a common question that is also faced by us Orphans.

As the Movie goes it shows the trials and tribulations of an Orphan. How the Science teacher Ms Iyer despises Stanley and criticizes his innovative efforts that he has put in his Science project and how the Hindi teacher Mr Verma eats the lunches of his students and then one fine day scols, humiliates and Insults Stanley for not bringing his own tiffin box.As an orphan how many times have we been ill treated???? How many times have people criticized even if we have not done anything.
